For all custom-built matrix switchers, Clear Blue Audio Video (CBAV) offers a five-year limited warranty. The period of five years shall begin on the ship date of the unit. A warranty card accompanying the unit must be returned before warranty coverage begins. Warranty registration cards should be mailed to: Clear Blue Audio Video, 697 South Pierce Avenue, Louisville, CO 80027. If a custom-built matrix switcher that is currently under warranty should malfunction or otherwise prove to be defective, the unit may be returned to the Company’s facilities for repair. The Company, at its option, may choose to replace the defective product with another identical piece. When a unit is returned for repair, it must be accompanied with a return merchandise authorization (RMA) number, which can be obtained by calling 1-800-869-5632 or emailing info@cbav.com. Your warranty is transferrable should you sell the unit to a third party. CBAV must be notified in writing in order to transfer the registration of your warranty to another party. Please include your name and address, the name and address of the party you are tranferring your warranty to, and the serial number(s) of the unit(s) under warranty.
For all other products offered by the CBAV, a two-year limited warranty is offered. The two-year warranty period shall begin on the ship date of the unit(s). If an item (not including custom-built pieces) is deemed to be defective within three months of delivery of the item, the customer may request a replacement piece in lieu of repair. Outside of three months, the defective item must be returned to CBAV's facilities for repair. The item being sent in for repair must be accompanied with a return merchandise authorization (RMA) number, which can be obtained by calling 1-800-869-5632 or emailing info@cbav.com.
In no event and under no circumstances shall CBAV be liable to the customer or to any other individual or entity for any indirect, special, consequential or incidental losses or damages including, without limitation, lost profits. EXCEPT AS EXPRESSLY SET FORTH OR REFERRED TO IN THIS AGREEMENT, THE COMPANY MAKES NO WARRANTIES TO THE DEALER, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.
